Is a Pathologist a Real Doctor?
Is a pathologist a real doctor that has gone to medical school?
Yes, Pathologists are real doctors who have graduated from an Allopathic or Osteopathic medical school and earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree.
Furthermore, they have completed a residency program at an accredited teaching hospital lasting at least three years but more commonly four years.
This audio is based upon an original medical specialty article that can be found here https://www.umhs-sk.org/blog/how-to-become-a-pathologist#real_doctor
